LIDOCAINE HCL INJ. 2% INJECTION

Lidocaine HCI inj injections are used for various purposes. It works best as a local anesthetic injection besides suppressing ventricular tachycardia and ventricular extrasystoles. Dosage should be appropriately adjusted for a patient’s age, anesthetic locations, parts, or diseases affecting the entire body. This solution can be administered by intravenous, intramuscular, or subcutaneous injections.

COMPOSITION  

• Lidocaine HCl 2%

INDICATION

• Anesthesia: Epidural, infiltration, surface anaesthesia or nerve block
• Internal medical use: Ventricular arrhythmia

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

• Adult: Single intravenous administration: 50 ~ 100 mg(1 ~ 2 mg/kg) as Lidocaine HCl per once slowly administer intravenously for 1 ~ 2 minutes.
• If the desired response is not achieved, the same dosage may be administered 5 minutes after completion of the first injection
• And also, additionally, the same dosage may be repeated at 10 ~ 20-minute intervals as necessary, but the maximum dose for 1 hour should not exceed 300 mg

STORAGE INSTRUCTION

• Hermetic container. Store at temperatures not exceeding 30°C
